Summer 2015

Been very busy this summer.  Besides working full time and running my mowing company part time in the evenings, we have almost reached the finish line for the house.  I will let the pictures do the talking.

Well going in.  Ended up being 160 feet down.  I was told by the well driller that it was one of the stronger wells he had drilled in the area, 45-50 gallons a minute.

The well was tied into the house, new pressure tank and piping.

The septic is in.  We had to use a holding tank since the ground will not perk.

Carpet is in all the bedrooms.

We tiled the rest of the rooms since there is in-floor heat.

The light fixtures and rest of the electrical is all in.

The railings are up.  They are log with rebar...I'm very happy with the look.

Kitchen cabinets, counter tops and fixtures are in.

Bathroom fixtures are all in and in working order.

Utility closet is together with the stackable washer and dryer.

Entry area has the bench in it.  I still have to build a shelf and a rack of pegs for hanging coats and stuff on.

There is still a lot to do.  Have to touch up chipped/marked paint throughout the house.  We have to still put the tile and mirrors up behind the Jacuzzi tub.  We need to put up some window treatments for a little color and rock behind the woodstove.  Hopefully in the next few weeks we will be addressing many of these items on the to-do list we have.
